Often the customer doesn't want to completely refinish an old piece of furniture, but only remove the offending scratch or burn mark. In this way they retain the original patina and stress markings of the antique.

Here we have a solid Oak Table Top. There is a "burn mark" that has gone right into the wood. Our job is to make it dissappear! With various brushes and coloured laquers, we can come close. Click on the "before" and "after" images to the right to get a real close look at the finished product.
