Welcome to Sea to Sky Finishes.
We are the Sea to Sky corridors' premier wood restoration and finishing company.
We are a restoration and refinishing company localy owned and operated. We do touch up, refinishing/finishing and restoration, as well as wood finishing of all kinds in our shop.
We will do in home estimates that can be booked through this website.

Our staff is capable of all types of finish application. We will refinish your kitchen cabinets, or repair a loose chair; refinish a tabletop, finish your new doors and mouldings, or restore the finish to a loved antique - all with first rate preperation. We will apply any number of hard finishes from a simple lacquer to a two part polyurathane high gloss piano top finish. Distress finishing and glazework to match any colour or style you can think of. We will colour consult with you or your design team, to create or match any unique finish. Our Touch up and repair services are first rate and are the easiest way to repair a dent or scratch in any piece. The refinishing here is done by hand; and gentle removal of the old finish is best to keep glues from seperating as is sometimes the case in strip tanks.

Brad has been in the refinishing business for 22 years in the lowermainland and 9 of it in Whistler/Squamish.
Trained as an antique restoration spacialist and refinisher with some of Vancouvers top craftsman.
At Sea to Sky Finishes, we are a spray finishing production center.
We do finishing to all interior and some exterior woodwork and cabinetry. When your wood is finished in our shop, it is prepped, stained (if required) & sealed; then a minimum of two coats of pre-catalysed laquer is applied.
We use the pre-catalysed laquer because of its strength, durability, and resistance to daily wear and tear.
Our versatility in spraying different custom finishes allows us to spray onsite or in the shop depending on your needs.
We use HVLP (high volume low pressure) technology.
This technology gives excellent results and has very low impact on the enviroment compared to conventional spray technology.
HVLP is a practice that is already becoming law in many parts of North America.
